Olivier Reinberg is Professor of Pediatric Surgery at the Pediatric Surgical Department of the University Hospital of Lausanne (CHUV), Switzerland.

Specialist in pediatric surgery of the FMH (Federatio Medicorum Helvetiae), certified by the European

Board of Paediatric Surgery (EBPS), he is a pioneer in the development of the techniques of minimally

invasive surgery and world reknowned for his work on esophageal replacements in children.

  • Introduction. Hans Gregersen (Denmark – China)

Peter J. Hunter is a well-known scientist in the field of mathematical modeling of organs and played a pivotal role in the Virtual Physiological Human (VPH) project, The Physiome.

The project aims to use computational methods for understanding the integrated physiological function of the body in terms of the structure and function of tissues, cells and proteins.

Professor Hunter is Director of Auckland Bioengineering Institute in New Zealand.
