Health on the Net (HON) Foundation
The Health On the Net Foundation is a pioneer in Life Sciences web applications, and has become, since its establishment in 1995, a major portal for health information on the Net.
HON’s search engines and ethical Code of Conduct (HONcode) are now standards for online health and medical information.
In recognition of its international role and expertise, HON was granted consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
A close cooperation exists between the OESO Foundation and the HON team, also domiciled at the University Hospital in Geneva.
Mrs Celia BOYER, Executive Director, is a member of the Executive Committee of the OESO Foundation.
